Summary (Second of Two)

To follow up with yesterday's entry, I offer a couple summary slides that highlight the past three weeks' posts. The message has been consistent:  we are charged with the responsibility to inspire, connect and nurture.

 As teachers and parents, the initial step is setting the invitation, to arouse the sense of wonder and curiosity. Next, we connect concepts, ideas, and content to other areas of interest. Finally, we provide ongoing support and encouragement to foster the child's development, with the expressed hope that the learning is piqued and the desire to learn more is enhanced .
