This is a slide from a presentation that I provided a couple of years ago to a group of elementary school teachers. It was borrowed from one of the best sessions that I ever attended when I had the opportunity to hear Parker Palmer talk about teaching in spring 2008. His message is timeless and on a day when we celebrate the importance of love, it seems most appropriate.
